The office of James N. Smith Architect, Inc. offers architectural
design services including conceptual design, design development, construction
documents production and construction administration. Additionally,
the firm offers professional services covering pre-design issues such
as site selection, site planning and project feasibility, as well
as program development and cost estimating, contractor selection and
bidding administration for complete project delivery.
The project mix in the office is predominantly custom single family
residences, both new construction and additions. Currently, there
are projects in Pebble Beach, Pasadera Country Club, the City of
Monterey, the City of Carmel, Carmel Valley, Carmel Highlands and
other areas within Monterey County. The office has completed commercial
projects including a remodel to an historic retail building in Carmel,
a day spa in Monterey, a retail store on Cannery Row and a car dealership
remodel in Seaside.
