Lacon Homes

LACON Homes has been building homes in West University and other nearby neighborhoods since 1987.
Since 1991 all of my business has been contract construction. Projects range from larger additions and
remodels to new homes with values in excess of $2 million.

My primary objective at LACON Homes has been to develop a reputation as a Builder of the first rank in
neighborhoods where excellence is expected. Over the past few years I have assembled a team of
subcontractors which compares favorably to any in the Houston area. All of them are accustomed to
working in homes where the emphasis is on top quality construction. We believe that they offer excellent
value for money, both individually and as a team. On competitively bid projects LACON’s proposals usually
compare favorably to those of comparable builders.

I make a point to treat clients and subcontractors as I would wish to be treated. I believe that everyone who
is a participant in a project deserves to be treated honestly and fairly and that people building homes should
get what they pay for. In keeping with this philosophy, all LACON’s contracts have been cost plus a fixed fee,
generally with a guaranteed maximum price.
